I found Edward through Craigslist and emailed for an estimate to move my Queen bed, mattress and box spring from my condo in North Etobicoke to my new house near the Junction. I explained that there were stairs at the destination. I was hesitant because I'd never hired anyone this way before.
Edward responded within the hour by email with 2 prices - one price if I helped him and another price (a little less than double) if he had to bring another person to help.
I opted to help him - we arranged a time that was only 2 days away and he provided me with a contact number and would call to confirm an hour beforehand.
Edward arrived on time and called again when he was outside He brought a dolly to transport things along flat surfaces. His truck looks a bit worn on the outside but is clean inside with furniture protection blankets all over the floor.
I'd already disassembled everything and purchased mattress protection bags and he helped me put them on. We loaded everything into his extended van and he followed me to the destination. We had to carry everything up 2 flights of stairs to the bedroom - Edward is a big guy (strong big, not big big) - he could probably carry most things on his own, but needed help to balance and control the mattress and box spring up the stairs.
We were done in just over an hour and it was an easy, smooth transaction that cost about 75% less than if I'd hired a moving company. Edward is careful and personable and gets the job done. I would definitely recommend him.
I've used Edward twice. The first time was to move a bed/mattress I got off Craigslist. He helped me get that bed down a narrow flight of stairs, then drove it and myself to my new apartment. A few weeks later, I called him again, and he was able to come within the hour, and he helped me move a bedroom's worth of furniture. I was so amazed that he could come help me out so quickly. I was trying to get my furniture out of my basement apartment before it flooded again (a huge storm was coming that afternoon), and he helped me move over my lunch hour! He's funny, friendly, honest, strong. I've recommended him to my friends.
I was out at Home Sense in Scarborough and the furniture item which I purchased didn't fit in my car. The two delivery contacts which Home Sense provided me with were extremely expensive; however, after a quick google on my cellphone, Toronto Delivery Biz came up. Edward was fantastic and agreed to come to Scarborough (outside of their usual delivery areas) to pick up my item and then drop it off for me at my downtown condo. Not only was Toronto Delivery reasonably priced but Edward was exceptionally proficient and delivered my furniture without a scratch! I would definitely recommend and use again!
Finding an affordable mover is always a daunting task, but I'm so glad I found Edward. Edward was professional, kind, and reliable -- I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Hi my name is Jason and I have a company EAMA Management. I was looking to move some personal stuff from my office to another location. I searched kijiji and found a company called Torontodelivery.biz. So I called and the gentlemen that answered was very professional. I told him I needed to move 50 boxes of comic books which weigh about 50lbs each and I needed it to be done carefully due to the value of them. I had bad experiences before with movers breaking my stuff or changing prices at the end so I was already scared. But when they came and I watched them handle my comics, I was EXTREMELY happy with the way they did it. They didn't rush the job to make sure they finish fast neither did they do it extra slow to get paid more. They did it in a timely manner and very careful putting it in the truck. When they reached the location to unload, they were just as good. Usually I don't do reviews but I was so impressed that I chose to do it this time. So from now on for all my moving and deliveries I will only use Toronto delivery from now on. I will recommend all my business partners and friends to them also, that's a promise. So from me and my company at EAMA Management, I would like to thank Edward Marcushi at Toronto Delivery for the great experience and showing me not all moving companies are the same. Keep up the good work!
Edward was prompt, professional and extremely courteous throughout our move. My husband and I were moving to a condo in CityPlace and originally had trouble finding the right entrance to our apartment. Edward was patient throughout the entire process and took extra care to delicately handle our belongings as many of them were fragile. I was very pleased with the high level of service and would recommend Edward to others to move to Toronto.
I needed to move a few items that I had purchased at marshalls and through Kijiji for my new apartment. I had recently paid over $550 to move my belongings from my old apartment to my new one for less than 2hrs of total work. I was really happy to have found Edward online and to have gotten a direct response from him so quickly on pricing and feasibility. I really dislike all the work involved in just getting a quote from a mover (submit form online, how many feet from the elevator to the loading dock, how many steps to the apartment) and was glad to fund out that Edward works on very reasonable rates for his time and service. Edward was courteous and provided guidance on how to make both pick ups as seamless as possible. I was impressed that with the help of his assistant and myself, we were able to move a 300lb mirror from one house up 25 floors. I was also very impressed with the respect the Edward demonstrated fory property and how he insisted to wrap and cover wherever possible to avoid any damage. Recommended for sure! Best of luck in your move!
